Thank you for choosing to use my psychological counselling services. Below you will find information about how I handle your personal data.

Information on Personal Data Processing

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the General Data Protection Regulation – hereinafter “GDPR”).

I process your personal data, including special categories of personal data (1), in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR for the purpose of providing psychological counselling.

I am the sole recipient of your personal data, as the data controller.

Your personal data are necessary for our mutual communication, and where relevant, for issuing invoices. They are also essential for me to be able to provide you with appropriate services.

All written records about you are stored in a locked cabinet in my office. I am the only person with access to the key, and I handle this documentation exclusively within the office. All electronic documentation is stored on my personal electronic devices (laptop and mobile phone), which are used only by me and can be accessed solely via password or fingerprint authentication.

I process your personal data for the duration of the counselling agreement and for three (3) years following its termination.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • withdraw your consent at any time, separately for each purpose of processing,

  • request information about which personal data of yours are being processed,

  • request the correction or completion of your personal data,

  • request the deletion of personal data for which there is no longer any processing purpose,

  • request the restriction of processing of data that are inaccurate, incomplete, or where the purpose of processing has ceased but you do not agree to their deletion,

  • request the portability of the processed data,

  • receive a response to your request addressed to the controller without undue delay, and in any case within one month of receipt.

Please send any request concerning the aforementioned rights electronically to my e-mail address, in writing to my postal address, or communicate it to me personally during a session.

You are also entitled to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Office for Personal Data Protection, pplk. Sochora 27, Prague 7, 170 00) if you believe that the processing of your personal data is in breach of the GDPR.

Note 1: This includes in particular data concerning health, as well as data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, and data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation.


I attend regular professional supervision. If I need to discuss any topic related to you as a client with a supervisor (i.e., a third party), I will never provide any information that could identify you in any way.

I maintain confidentiality regarding all information obtained in the course of my practice. Confidentiality may be broken only in cases prescribed by law, such as when there is a threat to the life or health of the client or other persons.
